How the free limits work
Free should be generous enough to run a real business on, and simple enough to understand in one read. Three limits apply to the free plan, and whichever you reach first is the one that counts.
- Per day: up to 100 invoices sent, counted on the calendar day in your organization's time zone.
- Per month: up to 500 invoices sent in a calendar month.
- Lifetime: up to 1,000 invoices sent in total on the free plan.
An invoice counts the first time you send it. Drafts, edits, re-sends, estimates and receipts do not count, so fixing a typo never costs you anything.
If you reach a limit, you can still get paid on everything you already sent. Payments on sent invoices are never blocked. You just cannot send a new invoice until the period resets or you move to a paid plan. A usage meter shows where you stand, with a warning at 80 percent so a limit never surprises you.
